We came to lowes today to buy some tile for a kitchen project. We weren't exactly sure what we needed.Dan saw us and asked if we needed any help, which we did.He was great! He helped us figure out square footage and pick out everything we needed .Dan helped push our heavy cart to the register, rang us up and even helped us to load the car. Glad he was there today.Great service!
Great store, some products are better than Home Depot. The garden area has beautiful flowers the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I asked for help and this gentleman walked around very slowly and didn't really look too see if they had what I was looking for so I decided to look a little harder and there it was sitting on top of the rack thankfully a young man helped me out and got it down with the lift. Some of the staff a like zombies wandering around the store.
Disappointing experience. I’ve learned my lesson at the expense of my mental well being. Chaotic experience with laundry units. Enough for me to never shop at Lowe’s again. Back in may they ordered the wrong laundry units for me and then re-ordered the right ones. They never successfully canceled the wrong ones i have been paying for 4 units instead of 2. (I was told it was canceled successfully) I only realized because my statements. It’s now late October and customer care team said it will be refunded back in 30 business days. Hopefully that’s true and resolved. To many inconsistencies. I can’t take it. The first one being in March when I went in the for the first time looking for a GE laundry they said they had one more, I said great! Then they told me to sign up for a credit card so I had 30 days to return instead of just 48 hours from the day of the delivery. They call me the next day sorry that unit was on hold for someone else. Not only were they wrong but I opened a credit card so now I had no choice but to settle instead of going somewhere else. Stay away. Go some place else.
Part 1.
On December 23rd, my stove suddenly stopped working, prompting me to visit the Lowe's store in Danvers, MA. My intention was to find a new stove and also replace my microwave and dishwasher. I made arrangements for the delivery to take place two weeks later, allowing time for a plumber to disconnect the stove. However, I had to return to the store to request a change in the delivery date. Unfortunately, the evening before the scheduled delivery, I did not receive a confirmation call. Concerned, I contacted the store and was informed that the delivery had been rescheduled from January 9th, 2024 to January 11th, 2024 by the Lowe's store in New Hampshire. Seeking assistance and clarification, I called the store but encountered unhelpful customer service representatives who advised me to contact the New Hampshire store myself. Despite spending 45 minutes on the phone trying to reach them, my attempts were in vain as no one answered. Feeling frustrated, I decided to visit the store in person and requested to speak to a manager. However, I was informed that the managers were in a meeting. To make matters worse, an unpleasant woman at the computer completely ignored me. Undeterred, I approached two other employees and asked for a manager. Mitch, who claimed to be the supervisor, reluctantly listened to my problem. I explained the inconvenience caused by rearranging my day and having a plumber come to disconnect my appliances in preparation for the new ones. I expressed my confusion regarding the changed delivery date. In response, Mitch simply stated that there was nothing he could do and advised me to contact the New Hampshire store myself. He asserted his authority as a supervisor and spoke condescendingly, leaving me feeling unwelcome and as if I didn't belong there. Mitch did not take the initiative to call the store himself, instead placing the responsibility on me despite my frustration with the situation. It is disheartening when individuals in positions of authority fail to provide the necessary assistance and support.
I empathize with individuals who come across people like Mitch, the customer service representatives who are ill-suited for a managerial role and incapable of handling the public, resulting in customers feeling unwelcome and compelled to resolve their issues independently.
Walked in for a Halloween blow up asked service 2x for help. No one came to help me. I want to give Kostas in the paint department great customer service for coming to help me. If it wasn't for him I would still be standing there for help. Great guy went above and beyond. Got me what I wanted within 5 minutes.
Once again I had a disappointing experience with Lowes delivery. I want to emphasize my poor experience is with the delivery drivers. They took away the old washer no problem. When they went to hook up the new washer, they had an issue with the water outlet connection. They said “call a plumber”! LOL. I took a look and said “it’s just a clamp. Connect the two hoses (see photo) and tighten the clamp with a flat head screwdriver. I also wrapped it with tape for extra protection. THAT’S IT! That’s how it was for 20+ years with zero issues. I had a feeling something was going to happen, so that’s why I was present. My 86 yr old mom would have been screwed if they just left it without doing a full hookup. I find this 💯 unacceptable. They wanted my mom to hire a plumber for about $200 to connect a house and tighten with the attached hose clamp.
I had my dog with me last night shopping at Lowe’s and needed assistance with a large box. An employee Mike assisted me with a large box to check out and stayed to help check the items out. There was some confusion with SKUs. He then delivered the package right to my vehicle very helpful very unexpected. However, that makes me want to shop there again I know it’s a second job and he works hard all day and then helped me!
This store is terrible! stay away. bought a stackable washer dryer combo. 1st delivery had missing parts, 2nd delivery both units damaged, 3rd scheduled delivery did not even show up, I have paid $1,700, been to the store 4 times, and have …
